Confused about Jesus
Some people say Jesus is the only way to heaven. So does that mean that anyone who doesnt believe Jesus is God will automatically go to Hell no matter how much good they have done in their life? What about those who lived before Jesus? They had no knowledge of him so does that mean they dont go to heaven either?

Answer: Since the fall of man, the basis of salvation has always been the death of Christ. No one, either prior to the cross or since the cross, would ever be saved without that one pivotal event in the history of the world. Christ's death paid the penalty for past sins of Old Testament saints and future sins of New Testament saints.

So according to what this website has stated, that would pretty much mean EVERYONE who came before Jesus is guaranteed Heaven. Does that mean that those who were condemned to Hell before are then sent off to Heaven once Jesus died? Since they lived and died before Jesus was born, they could not accept him so what makes those people any different from the people who exist now that do good and believe in a higher power but dont call that higher power Jesus or Christ or any other moniker?

Not Forgotten
"people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."
Reading this reminded me of a conversation I had with someone I thought was a friend. We argued about the details of an incident that happened over 10 years ago. Regardless of what was said and done by both parties, to this day I distinctly remember how I felt because it forever changed the way I viewed them. I said "I would respect you more if you said you don't remember saying or doing that than to call me a flat out liar, because I know how I felt and that hasn't changed."
When someone disrespects you and attacks your self esteem, its not easily forgotten on your part. Maybe it is on theirs. I don't want an apology. I just want them to acknowledge that my feelings are real. Im not holding my breath for it, though.

WritersBlock
I wanna get back into writing my poetry again but sometimes I feel that ship has sailed. I used to write poems on a regular basis, like a few every month. Now its like, if i can manage to get one out, its the only one in some years. In the past five years, I've written about 3 poems. People always wanna tell me that its just because I'm not inspired. That I should just let it flow and not force it. I'm not forcing anything. That's why I haven't wrote anything in a while. The flow I used to have just isn't there anymore. The words used to come to me whenever, wherever. Now, it get nothing. Literally my mind is blank.
I know the words will come when they're ready. In the meantime, I guess I'll do my nails.

Alien Dream #3
The dream didn't start with the aliens but it finished with them. I was awakened by my phone which cut the dream short. I remember going to a club with some friends. It was a house that is now a club. Me and my friends entered the club thru the back and made our way to the front. I went outside and saw there was a few parking spots in the front of the house despite the club being packed. I said I would move my car and one of my friends said they would follow suit.
There were two empty spaces side by side and another open space next to a large truck. The truck looked like a Ford 350 but bigger and all black. It was parked under a big tree than hung low. The club sat on the corner, facing a 6 lane street. That section of the street was on a big steep hill. The club sat in the middle of the mile high hill, half a mile to the top and half a mile to the bottom. The bottom of the hill leveled out for about a quarter mile before rising up into a half mile hill. There were no sidewalks on the club side of the street and there was only about 4 feet of grass between the parking lot and the street.
I moved my vehicle into one of the joining spaces, thinking my friend would park next to me. Instead, they parked under the tree next to the truck. At this time, my vehicle turned into one of those baby strollers that you see people pushing when they're out running, with the single wheel in the front and two wheels in the back. And then this kid, that looks between 8 and 10, gets in it. I told him to get out and not to touch it but he was somebody's heathen child who ignored me. I turned around and all my friends were standing in the open space next to me. We were talking about something and I turned back around to see that the heathen child carjacked me for my stroller. It had foot pedals on it and I could see him already pedaling at the bottom of the hill.
Of course, Im pissed so Im ranting and raving to my friends. Diagonal to the club, across the street towards the top of the hill, was a gas station. I could see this in my peripheral. As we're talking I see something fall out of the sky with tremendous speed but no sound. I turned to see what I thought I saw and it was a two foot tall cylindrical metal object with a red circle in the middle. I reminded me of a turrent from the game Portal but it didn't have legs. The base looked like it was 2 short metal beams, one dark and one light, and they were twisted and formed together. The red circle on the front was a dark red and it stayed dark, it never lit up. It looked heavy and it dropped so fast, you would've expect to at least see a crater or heard a thud. There was neither. The object stood there like somebody had just put it there.
I saw some men approaching it, trying to figure out what it was. Then it began to morph. It went from the twisted cylindrical object to a metal sunflower looking object (too much Plants vs Zombies) and then to a VW Beetle type looking object. The body was kinda egg shaped with 4 smaller half egg shaped points around it, like where the wheels would be but it was wheels. It was some kind of propulsion system but with no sound. The only sound this thing made was when it fired. Just before it started firing, while it was morphing, I pointed it out to my friends to show them. I told them "that thing just fell outta the sky." So when it started firing, we all saw it. It took out all the men at the gas station but not the gas station itself. Then it moved into the street and down the hill, blasting some of the moving cars along the way.
it morphed several more times before reaching the top of the smaller hill. yes we were still standing in the parking lot of the club the whole time. by the time the thing reached the top of the smaller hill, 3 larger metal crafts appeared at the near the top of the big hill. they didn't fire, but one appeared to be digging into the street. all three crafts were one behind the other and the middle one was digging. the crafts sat in the middle of the street. this is when we decided to leave. we jumped into somebody's car and drove up the hill. keep in the mind, the whole time this is going on there was still cars driving up and down the street. we drove straight past the 3 crafts and just as we got past them and to the top of the hill, my phone rang and woke me up.

Strange Morning
I was lying in the bed, almost sleep but not quite. You know when youre half asleep but you can still hear the things around you, I was in that state. I could hear the sounds of the street and that incessant dog barking in the neighborhood. Then I began to sense very faint footsteps, leading from the kitchen to the hallway.
You know how sometimes you can sense the presence of a person near you without actually seeing them? Like when people try to scare you but you sensed them being around you so their trick didnt work? Well, I sensed this being along with the footsteps. The steps were very faint and the rhythm of it made me think of someone walking.
The entire house was quiet as I was the only one here. Most of the windows were open and even though I could hear the sounds from outside, I could still distinctly hear these faint steps. I started to get scared because I didnt hear a door open, no movement, no creaking sounds of old floorboards. The steps sounded the same on the wood floor as they did on the carpet.
My heart started racing as I heard the steps and sensed the being come into the room. It went around the bed to the far side where I was lying. The presence got really strong as it stood next to me. I was lying on my side with my back towards it and a sleep mask over my eyes. I felt like the being leaned over and breathed on my face because I remember my face getting really warm and it seemed like the face was right in front of me.
My heart was beating so fast, I jolted up and ripped the mask off my eyes. There was nothing there. The feeling of the presence was still there but it soon faded. I sat and listened to the sounds around me coming thru the window. Nothing I heard sounded like those steps. I was so freaked out, I could go back to sleep. I kept replaying the scene in my mind, wondering what it could have been.

When I finally went to sleep I had a dream where I was in the same room and I heard noises coming from the bathroom. The door to the bedroom is directly across from the bathroom so when I got up and walked out of the room, I could see three young guys outside the bathroom window. They were trying to get into a secret room near the roof that I could see from a small hole in the bathroom. I opened the window and told them to leave. They climbed off the side of my house and climbed into the back of the house next door, which doesnt have anyone living in it now but apparently, someone lived in it in the dream. I went back into the bedroom and looked out the window and I could see an old man sitting in a rocker on the front porch.
Some other stuff happened that I cant remember now but there were three things that happened to my house in this dream. The kids trying to get in was one. The second thing I remember was that for some reason there were quite a few girls in my house. I walked past the bathroom door and got wet. I turned around and saw a few girl in the bathtub and a few more in the bathroom (the bathroom in the dream was way bigger than my actual bathroom). The shower head was on full blast yet it was facing out the door, soaking the carpet.
The third thing I remember is looking into the living room and seeing a young girl and boy arguing next to the front door. I asked why they were in my house and proceeded to escort them out the door. As we exited, I saw a guy I knew but hadnt seen in years. We struck up a conversation and he went to his car to get something to show me. I cant remember what it was but it was then that I noted several broken panes of glass on the door. Part of the door was like a stained glass window. There were several large sections shattered, cracked or completely gone.
I was outraged because I knew that boy did it. Several people in the neighborhood came to see the damage since I was on my front porch having a fit. One lady pointed out that the house diagonal to mine was where the boy lived and she went to get his mother. When the boy's mother walked up, she looked ashamed and said she would pay for the damage.
When my mother got home later, I went to show her the door and it looked like someone put all the pieces of broken glass back together into each space. All the holes were filled but the glass was not whole pieces. I tapped one of the sections and the glass flexed and bounced back like jello.
When I awoke from this dream, I looked around the room because I still remembered that presence I felt earlier. It hasnt left my mind all day.

“Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo” is a grammatically correct sentence used as an example of how homonyms and homophones can be used to create complicated constructs. It has been discussed in the literature since 1972 when the sentence was used by William J. Rapaport, currently an associate professor at the University at Buffalo.[1] It was posted to Linguist List by Rapaport in 1992.[2] It was also featured in Steven Pinker’s 1994 book The Language Instinct. Sentences of this type, although not in such a refined form, have been known for a long time. A classic example is the proverb “Don’t trouble trouble until trouble troubles you”.
The sentence is unpunctuated and uses three different readings of the word “buffalo”. In order of their first use, these are
- c. The city of Buffalo, New York;
- a. The animal buffalo, in the plural (equivalent to “buffaloes”), in order to avoid articles;
- v. The verb “buffalo” meaning to bully, confuse, deceive, or intimidate.
Marking each “buffalo” with its use as shown above gives
- Buffaloc buffaloa Buffaloc buffaloa buffalov buffalov Buffaloc buffaloa.
Thus, the sentence when parsed reads as a description of the pecking order in the social hierarchy of buffaloes living in Buffalo:
